The game presents a realistic war zone where your decisions have a direct impact on the outcome. You have to make sure your men get home alive and your equipment is hard to replace. Clear roads of IEDs so your supply convoys can reach the remote FOBs and avoid unnecessary casualties during patrols. With hundreds of units under your control, you can issue patrol orders, send humanitarian missions and establish bases in enemy territory.<\/p>\n
Although the province of Kushan is fictional, many of the game's missions are inspired by real events from the Afghanistan War. The open world is filled with unique locations, natural landmarks, villages, cities and coalition bases that reflect the Afghan landscape and the complexity of the conflict. Your choices matter; one of your main tasks is to secure the province of Kushan and return power to its people. <\/p>\n
Kushan is divided into nine districts, each with an organized network of rebels with different skills and motivations. Some groups specialize in recruiting fighters, while others deal in illegal drugs or weapons smuggling. Find them and destroy their operations to restore order.<\/p>\n
Use air support to support your units from the air. With attack helicopters, drones and bombers you can get an advantage in the battles. The innovative combat system allows you to observe and coordinate the activities of your units using military drones that offer different forms of vision, including thermal imaging.<\/p>\n
